I'm making a second character and I want to Buy Blade And Soul Goldpick a server with the shortest queue, I know they are all long but one of them has to be shorter than the other ones. I've heard Soha and Yuahren(or whatever it's called) or both short? Is that true?
It won't matter. The moment someone names one everyone will just jump on that server too, thus starting a long line to get in THAT one.
There's no avoiding this until NCsoft grows a pair and takes away queues altogether. There are tons of MMOs that DON'T have this feature and they do just fine server-wise.
How short is relative, as they are all in the thousands.
So far, there doesn't appear to be a consensus, and they did not have the foresight to add basic functionality to their server list that you would otherwise see in much older MMOs (average ping, population, etc).
I don't even think the queues themselves are the problems, but the fact that people aren't being removed from servers and there's no grace.
At this point, if you disconnect or want to change characters, you have to wait through the entire queue again and yet anyone can just leave their character logged in and as long as they don't disconnect, they don't have to wait through the queue again.
lol at this idiot. The idea of a F2P model is Cheap Blade And Soul Gold to get people logged in so that they will either subscribe or buy in game items after enough time invested in the game. Long queues drive away potential customers that might have otherwise been paying customers. I assume that any nexon shareholder would sorely disagree with you in regards that there is nothing wrong with the way they are handling the launch as far as available servers (In fact they have already announced opening more servers already because they know it's a problem), long queues will generate less money by turning customers away who are not willing to suscribe to a premium account on an untested MMO...not generate more
